Upavasam
The village fasts through the day, and families go to the temple together.
Abhishekam
Abhishekam with bilva leaves and Rudrabhishekam are performed at each of the four watches of the night.
Jagaranam
Bhajans and harikatha through the night, and the fast is broken at dawn with theertha prasadam.
