A month of deeparadhana, Nagula Chavithi, and the Karthika vana bhojanalu.
How it is observed
Deeparadhana
Lamps are lit at the temples and in front of every house through the month, with a village-wide deepotsavam on Karthika Pournami.
Nagula Chavithi
Beginning at the Subrahmanya Swamy temple, milk is offered at the anthill.
Vana bhojanalu
Families of the village eat together under the usiri tree.
